Brenda Doctor

Brenda Doctor is a Bronx native who joined the PeaK Unleashed team in 2019. She brings five years' experience coaching rugby at youth, middle school, and high school levels. Brenda is currently completing a degree in sports management at Monroe College, where she is three-year captain of the women’s rugby team. She also plays regularly with senior level club, ROOTS Rugby, and coaches youth rugby in the community.

Brenda is driven by her passion for rugby and her passion to grow the game. Brenda began playing rugby at age 13. She has received awards and scholarships recognizing her “most valuable player” and “leadership” qualities as an athlete and student. Following a noteworthy high school career, Brenda accepted a scholarship to Notre Dame College (OH) where she helped lead the college to a division two national championship. Brenda attributes much of her academic success to her participation in the sport.
